We are right now using the Super So gel bike seat cover. We got it a few days ago and have had the boys try it out on their bike. So far they really like it. To attaches, the cover all you have to do is put it on your old bike seat and then cinch it up with a thick string that locks in place with a compression lock, like the string on hoodies. This product even comes with a 3-year warranty. I am very pleased with it so far. I know my kids are going to really appreciate it since nothing around here is smooth riding.
The seat dimension is 11"x7"
The thickness is about 1 1/2"-2"
It comes with a vinyl bag for people who use their bikes to commute they can take the gel seat with them and not have to worry about it be gone when they get back. The cinch tie that's on the bag is the same as what's on the underside of the seat.
